Once again, you'll have to forgive me for playing tourist on this trip. I'd never been to Chicago.
I thought this was a rather cool shot of the Kapoor Sculpture (Cloud Gate), fondly known as the "bean", with the skyline reflecting on the surface.

Milliennium Park.
I flew in around midnite on Friday and left Sunday morning so I didn't have a lot of time to go site-seeing. But we did catch a cab down to Millennium Park and slowly stroll back to the hotel catching a few things along the way.

And now my hubby's rubbing off on me. He's always taking nature pictures. These tulips were too pretty to resist and were all over the city which I found really beautiful and so clean. I love that.
Daffodils too!
The Jay Pritzker Pavilion - this structure is amazing and so huge. I would love to see a concert here!
Millennium Monument at Wrigley Square. There was a group on an architectural tour of the city in front of the fountain. Given more time I would have gone on a tour because some of the buildings and other structures were just incredible.
Here comes that nature thing again...a couple of ducks taking a swim in the fountain.
Adrianne introduced the band.

Ahhhh! What I came here for! Time for the Kurth & Taylor concert. Forgive the columns in the pics. Most of the pictures of Wally's side are cut off because he kept stepping behind the column from where I was sitting.
Christian Taylor & Wally Kurth
This was concert was a special 10th Anniversary show.
They opened the show with "Freedom".
Wally mentioned that Kurth & Taylor will be appearing on an episode of "I wanna be a soapstar" this season.
Pat McCormack - I tried to get a pic during Pat's solo but he stepped up into Wally's spot, right behind the green column! Sorry...
Wally observes while Christian & John get down.
Wally invited some guests to the stage to join them for "Let it go".
Wally encourages the audience to get up and sing along.
"I'm in lurve..."
(Sorry, you kinda had to be there)
"I just can't quit ya..." Is that how it goes?
Yeah, something like that...
Adrianne joined Wally to perform "Barefoot Ballet".
And they ended on my favorite..."Seventh Son" which I've been playing over and over in my car all week.
Adrianne posed for me while I was adjusting my zoom for closeups.
A Kurth & Taylor sandwich. I could get used to this!
A hug from Pat, a must at a K & T concert. Pat then whipped out pics of his kids and showed them off!
I berated Johnny for not signing my pics at the last concert, which he then tried to make up for and seems to have freaked John out a bit! Rambunctious, that one!
Adrianne & me - Why couldn't GH write for this beautiful girl & Wally? What a missed opportunity!
Hopefully Y&R appreciates her more.
Final pose from the band - Go see these guys if you ever get the chance. Live is the experience to have!
