I’m like the cream in an oreo, sandwiched between Greg & Rick, only I prefer the outer part myself.  So starts the event of the King, Ted King.   Q&A:    Q:  When are you going to be back on our screens?  I took a little break, but I’ll be back soon.   Q:  Now that Sonny & Carly are getting a divorce, what would be an issue besides Sonny that might come between a Lorenzo & Carly romance?  Trust.  He said that he’s been happy with the way they are writing right now, they’re taking their time and telling it slowly.    Q:  What actors in the cast challenge you?  There are so many phenomenal actors on GH, it depends on the storyline and how prepared you are and they are.  Tony Geary is a challenge because of his adlibs and I love working with him, makes it interesting because you never know what he’s going to say.   Q:  about the online chat and wanting to work with Becky Herbst, who else would you like to have more scenes with?  I’m looking forward to the scenes with Diego because you get to see another side of Lorenzo when he’s learning how to deal with his child.  He mentioned that he is happy with the way things are going with this relationship.  He also thanked everyone for all the fan mail he’s been receiving.   Q:  What about Lorenzo’s relationship with his mother?  Since his father’s dead, do you think she’s still alive?  Do you think any of his issues with women go back to that relationship?  I don’t believe we’ve established that his father’s dead. Yes, you mentioned Sage was buried by your brother and father. Oh, yeah .

Q:  Where are you going on your honeymoon?  The wedding is off.  I love her but I’m not ready to be married yet.   Q:  about the scene with bailing Diego out of the police station, will this situation be reversed?  Yes, I think you’ll see this scene being reversed back and forth.  He commented on the longer he spoke the more he was picking up a Texas accent.   Q:  What were you like in High school?  Were you a geek?  I’ve been known to trip over my own feet.  I moved around a lot with my mother, parent’s split up, tried to fit in as quickly as possible, learned to adapt to different situations quickly.   Q:  What was the intent of the recent/future scenes with Carly?  To be sympathetic to her, you will see Lorenzo go above and beyond to help Carly, even so much as to cooperate with the police.   Q:  Has the romance with Lois been tabled because of their kids?  He feels that the door is still open there.  Lois was supportive of Lorenzo at a time in his life when he needed someone like that.    Q:  Do you really speak Spanish?  Si.  Can you say Corinthos? And he did, very sexily.

Q:  about drop in scenes - he answered how do you know they were dropped in?  because of your haircut!  Yes, you’ll probably be a seeing another one of those that I just did when they were short a few minutes on an episode and they wrote a quick scene.  My hair grows very fast.   Q:  Do you prefer Luis or Lorenzo?  Lorenzo.  Luis was a great bad guy, icy, cold, vicious.  Lorenzo is educated, I spoke to the writers about this, I really wanted this guy to be educated and I think that it has really given an added depth to the character.   Q:  Does Lorenzo trust Maria?  Yes.  She was the one on the short end of the stick in that situation, the one who couldn’t trust him and who can blame her, he was rebounding with her, she had no reason to trust him.   Q:  Have you considered doing anymore primetime shows again?  Yes, I would like to, with GH getting the priority for shooting it would be more reasonable to do a sitcom.  I’m might be looking into doing a pilot.   Q:  What about theater?  Yes, and it’s easier to do theater while working on GH because you can shoot during the day for GH and then dash off in the evenings to perform a show.   Q:  How far would Lorenzo go for Carly?  Would he go legitimate?  He wants to but is not able to because of his family, his brother and father.   Q:  How did Lorenzo rig the elevator?  He didn’t.   Q:  Lorenzo was always the one chasing Carly before, will it be the other way around?  He’s giving her space now.   Q:  Tell me about Ted King?  I lived all over, Hollywood, ranch, etc.  Attended the University of California – Double major in Business Economics and Drama, he dropped the drama but later on picked up sociology NYU for some grad work in Film Favorite food? Italian Favorite drink?  Let’s play it safe and say water, although I do drink a lot of coffee on the set.   Q:  What do you do when the script calls for Lorenzo to do or say something that you don’t think the character would do?  Well there are 2 things that you can do.  You can go ahead and do the scene but play against it or you can go and talk to the writers.  About 99% of the time, they are amenable to changes.   Q:  Do you still do martial arts?  Not at the moment.

Q:  So we hear you were out on the town with Greg?  Where did you guys go?  Doing Dallas, I never honestly saw any of the names of the places, I don’t know.   Q:  Will you be doing a One Day with Wally episode?  There isn’t one scheduled.   Q:  Will you be having more interaction with Dylan Cash/Michael because of your relationship with Carly?  I don’t think that’s gonna happen.  Sonny’s got his little gangster and I’ve got mine, and my little gangster’s bigger than his.    Q:  What would the people who are closest to you say about you?  My coworkers would say that I’m really professional.  Personal friends – I don’t know.   Q:  What has been your biggest professional challenge?  This is it.  Personal appearances.  (Ted’s rather shy).   Q:  How did your parents feel when you told them you wanted to pursue acting as a career?  They were dumbstruck, but my father was really supportive.   Q:  about his masquerade costume – Ted mentioned that his costume was the suit that Tommy Lee Jones wore as Two-Face in the Batman movies.  He originally had his face painted on the one side as a scull but they later removed it because they wanted to see his reactions with Diego in his facial expressions and felt the makeup was in the way.   Q:  What would Tamara say your strengths were?  That I’m a good listener.   Q:  Did you ever get to climb Mt. Whitney?  No, I didn’t.  I wasn’t as confident in the experience of the other climbers so I’ve put it off.   Q:  Do you think they could bring back Luis?  To let you play a double role?  No, I think Luis is dead.  Maybe for some flashbacks from when they were younger, that would be interesting.   Q:  about his comment in SID about Sophie?  She was the ideal – killed while trying to save the world.  Those are huge shoes to fill, it would be hard to cast her.   Q:  will Lorenzo be nicer or more sinister in the future?  Depends on the storyline.  He expanded on that by discussing his reactions to Sage’s death.    Q:  Why do the writers return to Carlo?  Because of the fans.   I won one of the raffles at Ted's event, a card from his role as Andy on charmed mounted on a beautiful plaque that I had Ted sign for me.
